Seen Death

Do the newly cursed have to be nearby other sources of the curse? Or can it be basically "summoned" to the person who fits X (probably super specific) criteria? thanks for the chapter!

GrinBean

Is that how blessings work then? Or blessing is basically a curse with positive effects?

Kennit Kenway

You absolutely can, but it can't be backwards like that, it needs to be extremely specific. So you could have a curse that only works in country A, but you couldn't haven't one that works in every country but A.

Yuval Roth

Can you load a curse with easy to fulfill conditions for more power, like it needs to be in any day but that specific day in the year, it needs to be in any place but this country and so on?

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Danielv123

Nameless got what he wanted though. As far as I have gathered, this faction is fighting nameless. Internal disagreement? I wonder what caused them to forget.

BlackRazaras

Thanks for the chapter

Enzo Elacqua

I’m not sure who exactly they are but I can see them having lost a bunch to bargaining with the demon. Or maybe the demon actually couldn’t do what it asked because of the dragon and thus they fucked up the favor.

Zarik0

So theory for nameless and co? i say maybe previous Nameless and Bear was the same guy but of another realm like Sylver meeting other Sylver mentionned in his past

Draeysine

Probably say "stop" in this case. Prevent would imply you never got the curse. Its more apt to say that a curse is harder to stop from completing with more conditions of contraction

nugitoBambino

Harder to 'protect against'? I agree with the principle though, trope-wise specific curses tend to be more powerful / tougher to stop when the conditions end up happening.

Seadrake

Those failure points could be the points of contact the curse uses to adhere to the victim.

Seadrake

The harder the curse is to mitigate?

Gardor

There's GOTTA be a better word than "prevent".

Kennit Kenway

Yes but once the conditions are met they're harder to prevent. You can bitten by a werewolf and not turn into one, but you'll get this curse if you sleep in the same room as a cursed person.

Gardor

"Generally speaking the more conditions a curse has, the harder it is to prevent." How could this possibly be true, more conditions = more points of failure
