Wow Sarah! Oh. My. God... This is some of the most disturbing occurrences that I've heard out of all of your intel briefings. However, the fact that a lot of it is coming out of Africa, unfortunately doesn't surprise me. But this entire situation is completely fuc%d... Enraging issue. From experience, some parents/guardians either accept the responsibility, or ignore it or are the actual perpetrator. Either case, the advice always given from me is to let children know to not wait for someone to come to help, defend yourselves at all times, to not be afraid to push back in uncomfortable situations. Specially from relatives. Boundaries must be set, starting from inner circles. Safety is everyone's responsibility, but not everyone accepts it.
