Generally I didn't expect a lot of the weirder transformations like Killer Croc for example, to win. Two Face did alright probably just because he's a big name villain (though there is very little love for that sequence, not surprising really). But Grundy is C-list at best for Batman so for him to beat out characters like Penguin and Court of Owls was a surprise. I knew it would be perfect for Halloween and saved it till now. We'll see if it actually does any better than Two Face.
Flash's Thoughts:
Literally all I know about Grundy is the rhyme. With so little to go on I got 'artsy' with how I presented the story. It starts with the original Grundy rhyme for those who haven't heard it before and then the alteration which 'subtly' lets you know what will happen to Batman after Wednesday. The radio broadcast at the end takes place on Thursday. For those who just don't get it essentially:
Today (Wednesday) Bruce marries Grundy
Thursday they make zombie love
Friday the zombie hunting groups find her and kill her
Saturday she's buried along with all the other corpses
and Sunday her corpse disappears, implying grundy found his wife and the two left to do whatever it is zombie married couples do.

Sure but he beat Penguin. He definitely isn't more well known than Cobblepot.

Honestly thats how I feel every time we finish most of these Bat pieces. They're just a lot more out there.
