Sculptor 0.13.0 Release
🕑 Added 2020-03-18 09:19:32 +0000 UTCSorry for the slow release and smaller release this time. I was ill over the weekend (fortunately not COVID-19) which stopped me getting as much done as I wanted as quickly as I wanted. Fortunately I'd switched around my work times as previously I imagine I'd realistically have to had push the release back a week if I hadn't.
The new scene artwork is super close, and my plan is to release a minor version with that in as soon as the artist is done. I'm really excited to see it all in-game.
I'll be posting a little more about development plans soon. I want to talk a bit more about my structural aims for the game now it has a decent chunk of content in it, and how best to improve other aspects of the game.
The next major release will be 0.14.0 planned for the 30th (a normal two-week release window).
I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing about it, but I do hope you all stay safe and well during the pandemic. It shouldn't make a difference to the development of Sculptor unless I or our artist catch it (touch wood), as we both work on Sculptor from home.
No changes to the Patreon patch this release, so you can reuse the same one.

- Unfortunately the new scene CG isn't quite in. It is close, but not quite finished yet. The plan is to do a minor release with the artwork in ASAP.

Unfortunately is really wouldn't be possible to have that much art done—the artwork will be the first scene, but it is a lot of completely custom artwork for the scene. The reality is just that it takes time to produce, especially when it was the first scene we were doing and I was giving a lot of feedback and adjustment to find the right style and setup. I'm hoping future artwork will be quicker to produce (and that I'll be able to bring more artists on-board to work in parallel as we get more backers) but it will never be all done in a couple of months, unfortunately (well, unless we only give a very few scenes actual completely custom artwork).

lot of content since it's taking so long.. might have been an idea to release half of it or so in the meantime to flesh out the game a bit? But I guess this means we'll have art for most of the scenes by now so it's worth a bit of waiting. Looking forward to the art drop :) thank you

Ouch, skipped the last update and won't DL this until the new artwork is added.. That's 7 weeks since the last artwork was added so I assume your artist is producing alot of content to be added since it's taking so long.. it might even have been an idea to release half of it or so in the meantime.. I'll be waiting for the art drop :) thank you
