February bonus #1: NES Works Gaiden Casio
🕑 Added 2024-02-05 01:33:49 +0000 UTCHello! I barely managed to squeeze this in before weekend's end, but here it is. The first of a few episodes of NES Works Gaiden Casio. This episode took quite a bit longer to create than the usual, since it involved creating new assets for a new series, digging into materials for a new console and its history, and upscaling everything to 4K. Oh, right, I produced this episode in 4K. Given the fact that the PV-1000 had 192 lines of vertical resolution, this is a completely ridiculous turn of events. But hey. Casio PV-1000. Pretty weird and interesting little system!

The library is already dumped, but I have my collection packed up and ready to send along for GA scanning once I receive a parcel from Japan that contains a PV-2000 game.

Circa 1985, my grandma got me a Tomy Tutor on clearance as a birthday present with Pooyan (along with other games) yet, no controllers! Thankfully, I figured out how to use the keyboard to struggle along. Is there a Tomy Gaiden in our future?

Will you send your PV-1000 collection to Gaming Alexandria to get scanned and dumped as well like with TV Boy or is it not needed
