Would also love to see Silk Wave broken down...would be a great addition to the stems.

a breakdown of Woven might be a nice follow up....would love to see how the watery textures were created.

Had a curious spark thinking about PaulXStretch x Sonosaurus and how it might play a role in the context of this tut. I’m not sure if it is a hundred percent a granular build, but awesome results from the VST nonetheless!

You would think this makes the effect transparent when the Amount knob is turned to 0%. However, it's been pointed out before (I think first by Mr. Bill) that if you make a group with ~30 Multiband Dynamics at 0% and A/B a signal, you should still notice an audible change to the signal.

This has been very inspiring to work more with granular synthesis. I have own portal for a while but its collected dust do to not fully understanding the over all concept. Time to explore and see where things take me.

What's your source for this? I've always imagined the amount knob as parallel compression
Joe Clutterbuck
Hey, turning the amount down on ott doesn't actually create parrallel compression. Amount is a scale control rather than a traditional dry/wet. I assume the device is designed this way because using multibands steep crossovers in parrallel would create some crazy phase relationships
