Your First Rough Mix!!!
🕑 Added 2021-06-16 22:01:07 +0000 UTCOk... rough mix is a bit of an over statement since the acoustic treatment for the studio hasn't arrived yet, and I haven't done any proper EQ or compression etc. But I've been so excited to share how things are coming along that I decided to make a bounce of what I've done so far on You Can't Have My Magic so you guys can hear the progress as it evolves.
Let me know what you think. Do you enjoy hearing a raw bounce like this, or would you rather hear something a little more finished? :)

So what Iβm finding is that: not only are you a gifted songwriter, but you have such vision for these songs. They all are beautifully complex and moving. I felt the rising and falling, minor and major chords, the moving background parts, and the constant long notes. I really appreciate the thought and love you put into your music.

what I couldn't believe that was 7 minutes. it felt like it went by so incredibly fast!! must be because I was enjoying it so much haha. beautiful work, I really do love the sound reminiscent of performances - ie. not too perfect, it sounds like your vocals and mandolin are right there with me. it's beautiful
