Damn, I joined for the early access to Tangerine Sours. But never would I have ever ducked out early like that. That's real scummy! Sorry to hear that though. I think emailing out people who have paid at least one month is a good idea. But, perhaps try to give as much notice on exclusivity stuff in the future as early as possible so people can join patreon in time to get the early access code, but still be charged for at least a month before then. I know you gave plenty of notice with the Tangerine Sours, so keep that same timing with other things too (if you don't already do this. I haven't been following you for too long yet).

Hey Greg, sorry to hear people have been gaming the system. Glad to hear you got it fixed by enabling the payment option immediately from now on. Unfortunately, since i'm a newer patreon subscriber it seems that i haven't been billed yet, that would be tomorrow. I've already purchased two delicious tins though and want to stock up on this round, would there be some way I could be included in receiving an email? If not, it's alright. I guess I can wait, I do have another tin I can eat in the meantime. The first one went fast though! Not to mention, i've been waiting to order more sours so I can also try out some of your other candy I forgot to other the first time, the image candy and the forbidden fruit look great! gotta try the lime sours too.

Greg, sorry to hear that you're having an issue with cheating ratfinks. Also, glad we got OUR order before they became a problem. And as for the repeat offenders ... I hope you're showing them the sole of your boot. I know another Patreon creator who has encountered similar problems, and I understand it IS possible to set up your account to bill in advance. Sounds like you need to do that, thanks to these cheats.

It's clear we are going to need to upgrade the panning machine over time. I thought I'd make a few dozen batches but now the number could be hundreds or thousands. I love my home made device ... but it's not going to last forever.

I'm not sure what it looks like at your end, but if someone cancles before the billing period, I get a note that the canceled and I get $0 seeing how many people who joined after October 1st who canceled in the last 24 hours ... I want to take care of everyone and I have, but it's been over 200 people who've cycled in and out to avoid being billed. 5 of which have done it more than once.

We're not looking by date we're looking by if you were billed. So yes you will be included. Patreon lets me pull a report of everybody and one of the fields that tells me is have they paid and how much over time. Everybody with a greater than zero is getting an email.

I also joined like mid month and was billed. Will i be included? Ive been keeping my eye on your site for these for awhile before i found out you even had a patreon.

You mentioned waiting for the first billing cycle, but I thought patreon charged you the full amount when you join even when you join in the middle of a month. Am I wrong?

I still think that your sours are better than the altoids version ever was.

I am disappointed to hear people have been unfairly gaming the system for the candies. I hope that the new system you’re implementing works going forward! I am happy to pay for the sours at full price. They’re are delicious and well worth the money!
