This is random, spade is a painter. I’m a carpet layer. I know painters and finish guys hate tack strip. Some guys tear it out because of the pins catch them. Do painters tear it out on the eat coast and if there’s any east coast carpet guys that lay carpet do you pay for tack and nail it at under ur total sqr footage. If a painter tears out the existing tack or finish guy it can cost me from 1 to five ours of labor at 40 hr but carpet guys don’t get paid for supplies or labor on installing tack with holes in pre existing concrete. Wood doesn’t matter. Please leave all tack strip if you guys can
