No - this is a coincidence and I know it looks a bit funny in alphabet. The Chinese characters are totally different (千早 and 綾) and the tone (when spoken) is different as well so did not notice this until I put the names in English.

Just something I was absently wondering about - Since in Japanese many words have multiple meanings, and since "Chihaya" ends with "Aya," does that have any special or particular meaning/connotation in Japanese, either taken separately or together?
