Oh I didn't think about that but you are certainly welcome to join in (as well as any other patrons that are reading this) :-) but no photoshops please, you must contest with your own art.

I was actually wondering more about eligibility for the fanart contest than viewers. Is (very high quality) drafted in pencil on graph paper better, or should I "digitize" it (read: scanned and then traced in photoshop, with the pencil drawing no longer present)? (I assume it goes without saying that art originally drawn by saver, then heavily edited in photoshop to make the drawing I needed is not eligible?)

Please do as you like, although drawing people as well would attract more viewers

Announcing "The Surface," the next fan series. Waayy back in the original "Diving Girls" on the old old cleveland site, a few years before 5 Minute Summer, through a complicated series of events (just go read it!) Chihaya saved Aya's (and her own) life from drowning inside their favorite wreck. Chihaya just barely made it out the hole in the side at the hold with an unconscious Aya in tow before blacking out. Then it cuts to Chihaya waking up in the hospital 2 days later? But what happened between the two? Can I enter the complete plans of the SS Yaeyama-maru!? I can -draft- pretty well, and could actually do that, but couldn't for the life of me draw a person. Would that work?
