It would be good to have a frame or two showing what's happening up top while the drama is playing out far below. Don't forget Saki's brother is in the boat too.

Well I still think that Saki is getting affected by hypoxia or at least getting it now. Because usually in Savers drawings style grey eyes are meant to show that a person is close to their limits before blacking out

I think that’s more indicative of her going into a zen mode, or an extreme focus, something like that. In my eyes, none of the girls have really pushed themselves yet, and the Shrine Maiden is just the first to lose herself in her training.

Saki continues to push Aya and Chihaya. I wonder if Ken and Eri are aware of what's happening, at least as aware as they can without being underwater (e.g. using sonar).

Well Saki is getting grey eyes in the second to last panel. Which the cousins doesn’t have yet in this picture. Which means that her plan will probably fail then
Titan1017
She placed that “cap” on them, yes, but seeing as Eri’s the adult in the room, that was most likely for safety purposes. Before she had said anything about the tag, however, she said “Whoever dives the deepest, the longest, with no blackout wins”, so Saki, who seems to be outmatched in terms of speed, even if only slightly, has fallen back on her lung power to last the longest at a greater depth, and thus claim the win (or at least enough bragging rights to say she won).
Didrik Svahn
Didn’t Eri say that they should “only” dive to 200 meters to get a tag. To show that the fastest instead of the deepest diver would win?
Titan1017
Nobody said their limit was 200 m, just what they were comfortable diving to. With Saki throwing down the gauntlet like this, I think it’s a fair bet both cousins will want to follow. The deciding factor then becomes (as we always knew it would) more about longevity than depth, and it’s safe to say from all three of our heroines faces that they can continue for awhile. I hope we get a few panels of everyone’s reaction at the surface too, once they take a look at the sonar and realize the girls aren’t coming up for awhile. And who knows; maybe they’ll find an ultra-deep wreck or cave down there that they can come back to in the next story arc.

Hmm, even if they've been swimming faster than usual, they must have been under almost 4 minutes...
I think she just blackout

aww poor Saki thinks now they won't be her friends
Midnightfox51
She wants to get deeper
Didrik Svahn
So I think Saki because of oxygen deprivation Saki did make the decision to go even deeper. So I think this behavior depends on hypoxia
