I question his skills too, but I feel like if he’s accompanying his sister on her training dives (which we know he has), then he must at least have basic recovery and breathing assistance experience, which she’ll almost certainly need at the end of all this. There’s also a criminal lack of Beautiful Men Only tags (which was even pointed out by Saver), and what’s more ‘beautiful’ than divers in swimsuits, be it boys or girls? Eventually, he could even become an associate for Marrea Scuba, leading him to help in the future dives closer to the surface while the girls’ continue to explore deeper and longer.

Well maybe Aya and Saki vision is getting blurry from the lack of oxygen. Which combined with their single mind focus on trying to swim up to get a new fresh breath of air. Could mean that they didn’t notice that Chihaya is gone for now. Also I question how good Tomokazu is at free diving

Well I just mean that regular air during scuba only let you get down to 40 meters. Before you start to feel drunk which is a very bad to happened underwater. And they where done at 190 meters depth, I don’t know how far Chihaya have swim. But I don’t think it’s more then halfway.

This almost seems like a hallucination. Even if Aya and Saki were too focused on themselves to help, I find it hard to believe they didn’t at least notice. As for Eri, you’ve demonstrated the technique, the girls are following, but you have to be the adult and check on them! At this point we really will need Tomokazu to dive in to help! At least Aya will be joining her cousin in sinking shortly, if she’s desperate enough to have used her hands to try and cover her mouth and nose.
