I don't think so, I believe Saki want back Miyako and return to the depths of the sea to seek her mother's spirit like she seek her father before. By the way the Japanese version doesn't mention that Saki want go home. サキハ(Sakiha) Is it Saki's nickname in Okinawan dialect?
