I think before Chihaya back to Miyako, she would meet Jun in Tokyo first. By the way, Now Chihaya is High school sophomore, in Japan there is a one week field trip after the summer vacation, if the destinations of the trip is Miyako, Chihaya will back soon, maybe with Jun together.

What does she expect Chihaya to do? Jump in the ocean and swim back to the island? Though if anyone could it’d be one of these girls… This is certainly one way to set up the next “conflict”, so to speak, giving our heroines yet another reason to take the plunge.
