Weekly update...?
🕑 Added 2018-11-16 06:43:14 +0000 UTC So I think I am going to try to do weekly updates, because I know it's frustrating when everything goes silent right up until release. Unfortunately not much to update on(fingers crossed it's a running theme with these updates, since that means everything is going to plan), progress has been going pretty well, fixed the issues with version .01, got into a good rhythm and no big hiccups so far. On track for early next month release which is my goal for every update. I would like to have the public release around the 10th or 11th every month, but I don't feel experienced enough to commit to that as a confirmed release date for all time yet, still run into something new every time I sit down to work on it lol, and don't want to rush something out because I made a promise I wasn't able to keep.Comments
Sounds like good tips to me. As for the promises, well you will probably figure it out eventually but I NEVER promise anything lol. I don't even do it off the internet, if someone asks me if I will be home in an hour so they can stop over I usually say no promises haha. I HATE breaking my word when I give it. Ignoring the non constructive makes sense even if it's sometimes difficult, the top tip is probably sticking to my vision. I'll definitely have to take that into account when making possible polls or posts, I certainly don't want to start making a game that I am not excited about anymore.
Thanks for the kind words, as well as the more obvious monetary support. I kind of have to keep up with the weekly updates, I'm still so new I have to rely on my charming personality and rapier wit to keep you guys around lol. Also appreciate the not beating a dead horse, though it was nice that people at least had fun with the roughness rather than straight bashing, some of the posts had me laughing my ass off. I follow a few devs as well where I find myself wondering if they joined the mars mission, and I don't want to fall into that trap. Updates won't be ground breaking or anything, but at least you will know right away if I hit a snag or something.
