Underwater Priestess
🕑 Added 2023-02-16 13:01:01 +0000 UTC...Misao was immersed in a ritual, at the sacred altar dubbed the Keel of the Island. True, while underwater, most of her native island's land mass was above her. And she had blown her lungs' air into the urn of gods, a offering that only a chosen young priestess was entitled to make. She knew that the ritual would last more than one thousand seconds, otherwise she would need to cut it short and thus irritate the gods, putting the livelihood of every islander in jeopardy. And the islanders far above stood watch at the edge of the dark waters where their beautiful demi-goddess had gone down, praying that she would not, not come up until her ceremony was done.

Yes, a group of only fundoshi wearing sea priestesses at a construction campaign for the altar at the ancient times would be great ;-)

If one day saver can show us how the altar build under sea in ancient times, I think only the sea priestesses have the ability to build it, generation after generation gradually building by multiple priestesses from ancient times. And show the ritual in ancient times, we might see that.

Looks very fine, but I think she wear not the right swim suit for these ritual. To modern. I think a japanese female fundoshi and maybe topless would be the right traditional swim suit here. :-)

I like what Savaster has shown us so far! Let’s hope we get more of Misao before they decide to move on to different projects, leaving us with yet more unexplained questions.

I agree we need more details about how a fully released Sea Shrine Maiden is capable of. Either we could get that by seeing more of Misao, or we could also see more of Amamiko series. As that also had Shrine Maidens and even grand priestess. Because currently I have trouble recognizing how Misao could be that good. Without further details and knowledge shown/told

Are we to believe that Misao is capable of an 19 minute dive (remember, time to swim down and back up) after a full exhale? Hopefully this isn’t a ritual that needs to be performed often, because even Saki and Aya combined likely wouldn’t make it back up from that. And it does seem like the priestess is required to wear at least a one-piece swimsuit; we saw that with Saki’s “Sanctuary” trips as well. Frankly, we need more examples of Misao’s feats before we can fully judge what a Shrine Maiden at her prime should be capable of, and just how far Saki (at least, if not the cousins’), can be expected to progress.

I wonder how old was she when she started doing this work? In https://www.patreon.com/posts/34791921 you said Misao first time can praying at -50m in the hall of the Turtle God when she was 17, but the two places looks not the same place, we don't know which one is deeper, but the time of the ritual in the hall of the Turtle God is looks shorter than 1000 seconds, may be less than 10 minutes. When Misao met Nate she is still a collage student,maybe around the age of 20. Only 3~4years passed, her progress is really rapid. So I'm sure there must have a grand priestess in that time point, Misao's mother and former priestess, is she still around?

A thousand seconds is 16 minutes and 40 seconds. If Misao is able to do that on empty lungs. That would put her on a whole another level in breath hold capacity, even compared to our capable foursome girls in AGVG
