I would tell Llulu as I’m loyal in her and trust her enough to make the best decision here

Historically, being members of a very proud clan, the accused would kill themselves prior to arrest, so executions per se have never been conducted.

Well, given one can fall to cowardice, or abandon the duel midway, the only punishment is being exiled, which isn't 100% bad. The opponent can also bring the other to the surface regardless of the outcome. It's safe to alert the princess, for sure.... But their honor is on the line. It's up to the challengers to choose what is best.
