so i downloaded the game from the link you provided and it keeps saying haremhotel.exe is missing cannot execute. any ideas why?

Please don't touch your saves. As I said, they are automatically available in each future version you download. Messing with your saves can break your saves entirely. Simply download, install, launch, and load.

Yeah I figured that out a bit after I commented. I usually just extracted to have the files replaced but I'll just do it separately each patch and move the saves file over to the new one. Thank you for the reply!

Harem Hotel needs to be installed separately each time. Merging and replacing files will always cause an error. That's why you're seeing an error for things defined twice. You can delete the files for Harem Hotel at any time without risk to your save as saves are stored in %appdata%, and those saves will always be available in future builds.

Currently getting an error saying that certain lines are being defined twice resulting in a scripterror and unable to open the game after updating and replacing the old files.

Loving the update but I'm clearly missing something: it says Felicity and Emma's stories are imcomplete but I can't work out how to trigger the next bit. Also, Maria is away from the hotel and it has been weeks of in game time and her next bit hasn't triggered. Am I bugged or am I being a dumbass?

Hey for the cheat mode android a couple of the bars end up below where you can access and I cannot find a way to scroll it. Of there is I'd love to know of not it may be something to look into adding in the future. To be specific for pin it you can see obedience but the bar is off the screen same for Kali's affection.

An android resolution issue has never been reported. If you'd like to report it, that would be wonderful. I explain why the download has changed for android at the bottom of this post. No need to be on discord, just read this post.

More of a description than "Bug fixes" would be pretty useful. Being a game designer myself I continuously keep track of specific issues so i can tell when an update fixes something ive dealt with for extended periods of time. For example: android resolution issues before the decision to have each person compile their own. If i hadnt been on discord, i would have assumed you cancelled the android version. Anyways, I guess I am off to dig through discord again to see if v12.2 is even something I should bother with or if I should continue waiting on more.

See if this works How to continue your Harem Hotel savegame from your Android device on PC: 1. Locate the Harem Hotel savefiles on your Android device ( standard directory is /Android/data/harem.hotel/files/saves ) 2. Copy all savefiles to your computer and save them in a seperate folder 3. Download the latest version of Harem Hotel for PC 4. Start it once untill you are in the main menu, close it afterwards 5. Locate your Harem Hotel save folder on your PC, they are in the "game/saves" directory 6. Copy the savefiles from the seperate folder and paste them into the "game/saves" directory 7. Start the game. The game should auto reload to your latest save, if it doesnt just hit Load in the main menu and select one of your savefiles

I don't play on Android, but I believe it's possible to transfer your old .apk save to the v0.12 version. I've heard of people continuing their saves on PC, so the same practice should apply.

I seem to have a problem where some images aren't loading causing the error, I can ignore and the game continues fine. It may have been a download error from me but I wanted to check to see it it's a common problem.

Hi Just wanted to say that if you place the game inside a folder that starts with a dot, for example: ".joi" the gallery app won't scan it anymore

Wouldn't it be possible to pack the images without the images for example and then separately download some rpa files from mega and dropping them in the data folder of the app using the filemanager app? Otherwise it should also be possible to just pack the game in the playstore format and instead of hosting a server just providing the data files on mega so the user has to drop them manually in the correct obb folder

Amazing game! For android users I will give you an obvious fix because I’m an idiot with technology. Being lysdexic (heh) when I tried to unpack the EXE file for android I kept putting hotel Harem and forgetting the underscore and adding an O instead of a zero to typing exactly the way the version number read. I kept on getting an error because the game was searching for the correct file title to open it and couldn’t find it obviously. I had to go back and re-check everything I entered, found the errors and then it’s been working swimmingly. Probably a super obvious fix but I just wanted to state that in case anyone was stumped.

I believe this is normally how apps on the play store upload the rest of the content on to your phone after the 2GB. Unfortunately, I don't own a server warehouse capable of updating directly to tens of thousands of phones at once. This is why I use sites like Mega, but they can't update apps on your phone.

I finally was able to fix it, there was a problem with my storage. so when ever I extracted the files it wouldn't extract all of it. so I cleared up some more space and that fixed the problem. Thank You for your help again.

It is actually possible to play this on android with an apk, you would just need to download the resources like the archive.rpa after installing the apk and place them into the apps working directory...

Maria's mission was a blessing and a curse. What happened was a huge surprise (the blessing), but now I have to wait until the next version to know how it'll end! :P (which is the curse :D)

Idk what might be causing that best bet is to join the public discord & mention your problem + include a screenshot of the error in help. It might be the game didn't unpack correctly and is missing files.

So, this helped me on opening up the exe file but now it comes up with an error after hitting new game and I can’t play it.

Make shore you also have the Ren'Py plugin from the app store. Try going into the phones, settings > Storage > files find where you unpacked the game, tap on the Harem_Hotel.exe & pick open with JoiPlay just once, it auto sets up and you just have to scroll down and hit add.

Sylvia's bug will be fixed in v0.12.1! Android's story event can only appear after every other main character has been finished for story purposes (this will be changed in a future update) So, do see Android's event, you need to complete the other main stories.

It's not really any different to useing an .apk, just download and unpack it useing RAR on phone. then open it with JoiPlay. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Files > Android > data. It might be in the RenPy file or its own file and might not work with the PC Ver.

I spotted an inconsistency in Sylvia's slave path, when sent to the kitchen during the evening, she is also present in the sanctuary (but can not be interacted with) all the girls path are at *to be continued* at the moment for me, except for the Android which is stuck in story incomplete, but i can not manage to trigger any event or see any *talk* available, how do i complete V12 story for her please ?
