My condolences. It has been almost a year since my grandfather died. My younger brother and I have been living with him and my grandmother to help take care of them. The four of us had a routine and everything put together around the old man... even now we find ourselves setting his place at the table, expecting him to make his quips about dinner being awful, or being asleep in his chair. Best I can say is to give it time for the pain to lessen and hold onto the best gift he left you: memories.

Take your time Runey. I had an extremely similar situation 3 years ago and it took over 3 months before it seemed like the state would let him die. Things do get better and life will eventually go on. Just take it slow and give the amount of emotional and creative power towards this project that you feel is doable (even if thats 0%). Take care of yourself and don't forget to smile. Even if it's a fake smile, they day it releases endorphins that make you feel better. Also, grief will take time. I lost my dad and and often broke down crying at random alot. But it will get better with time.

Been there. It was a pretty rough time. Took a while to get my head back into a decent place. I learned to really appreciate those true friends willing to give the room and time I needed to get my feet back under me so to speak. SO, you do whatcha gotta. I'll be here as long as I can.
