Yeah but its not Stiles and Scotts fault of what happened to Lydia. They are just innocent teenagers who happen to be stuck in the middle of the mess in a supernatural world. She shouldnt be blaming them. Maybe if lydias mom was a better parent and didnt put her in eichan house in the first place non of this would be happening to lydia and she would have listened to stiles instead of blaming the kids.

Lydia’s grandma was on her father’s side. Lydia’s mom is a skeptic through and through. She tries to find a reason for everything that happens and refuses to believe that something supernatural is going on. She doesn’t know that Lydia’s grandma was murdered in Eichen House. She thinks it was suicide, because it was ruled as such and she doesn’t really care for the grandma anyways. So to her, Lydia being in Eichen is no problem and they are actually trying to help her. Also you gotta remember that in the world of teen wolf, it’s been 2 years since season 1 episode 1. So in less than that, her mom as seen her be “mauled” to near death (she still doesn’t know why or how), go “crazy” and scream her lungs off in the middle of the night, almost lost her again from getting strangled. Then Lydia became secretive and obsessed with the lake house and begin to spend all her free time there for no apparent reason. Now her daughter is back in the hospital and in a catatonic state. I think her reaction is valid because this started happening when she became friends with Scott and Stiles.
