Kamen Ramen chan
🕑 Added 2024-05-19 13:00:11 +0000 UTCI find it amusing with the arrival of Kamen America that American-style and Japanese-style comics are getting ever more closer. ...Maybe except that one of K-America's sidekicks calls herself "Kamen Ramen" (and oh look, she even has chopsticks up in her hair!)
This is due to the fact that "Ramen" (bowl noodles) is considered as a Chinese dish in Japan and "Kamen" (mask) in a fiction is typically a masculine character (with a few notable exceptions). And in the '80s there was a character exactly like that...Ramen-Man (above),to be more exact.

I'm reminded of that Kinnikuman spinoff called Kinnikuman Lady where all of the male wrestlers became females XD

Oh Didrik Sempai…I have only started recently as this series has begun to garner attention. The style is good and the characters are likable, the only issue i have is this particular Ramen heroine name :-) (the correct word order should be “Ramen Kamen” as well)

Oh do you also read that series? I have been following it for a couple of years. But yeah they have pretty stereotypical characters in that to some extend. As the character from Russia have a lot of Soviet inspiration
