There will be a pic of an undersea journey of hers very soon :-) And true, the rediscovery of Saki’s mom Misao and what it really means to be a sea priestess is yet to be told😏

Speaking of Saki’s tendency to overperform, will she be journeying undersea again anytime soon? There’s the whole “Through the Tunnel” teaser, her newfound connection with her mother, and a perfectly capable coach in Eri who’s constantly strutting around in a wetsuit or less (among other threads) that suggest that her diving adventures aren’t done yet. It’s just been awhile since she’s broken out the bikini and gone full power for anything. The stuff on land is heartwarming and important, but we can balance that with underwater fun too, surely?

Fair enough, the only ones who might have had a chance to convince her would be Chihaya or her father Nate

Most likely that conversation (“you look very tired””Take it easy on yourself”) happened many times already, Saki just wouldn’t stop

Ok because I did find it a bit weird that no one was worried about her. As Saki have such big bags under her eyes

No cultural implications here, although Saki does have a tendency to push herself too much (either in diving or studying)

Is this a commentary on hard working Japanese/Korean people? Because it almost feel that way, with how Saki is working without enough sleep to get praise
