ok, i think i found the issue. pushing up a new version in a second. not sure why this causes an issue for some people but not others, but these old references i think can be safely removed.

I downloaded all available dependencies in VAM and still have the issue. None of your links above to dependencies have any files other than one saying they have been deprecated for the VAR. I can send my error log and message log to you if that would help. Just let me know where to send them.

I was able to replicate your issue on a clean install - the issue is you need to install ALL addonpackages required by the scene and restart. then you need to make sure your sound files are there (obviously ideal but not required)

This shouldnt in theory be a problem but until i patch it try putting a dummy file there with that name and see if it fixes it.

That error should not cause a crash, however i will investigate with a fresh install and patch by end of weekend. Sorry for any inconvenience, var format has involved major updates. Anyone else having this issue?

Both F*cj Awakens and Senator from Taboo seem to get hung up on "URL Audio:\nearbyoldies dontdelete.mp3" and the red hour glass just spins. I am able to load girl presets, change positions, but no sound or annimations.

Sure thanks. Did you click on the loader in the right hand side the two click loader? After that try the animations on the left. Is the vh34 player errored in red on the model?

In the guide it explains that no looks are included. And the scene no longer uses looks it uses appearance presets. You are meant to supply your own.

I have already used this guide, copy/paste every folder in the right place but still there are no models or anything else loading. Even iff i want to load the looks from your Addonpackages by them selfe they are not showing up in my scene loader.

please read the install guide/FAQ, you very likely installed something incorrectly. Seriously.....this Mod is absolutly not playable. The Voice is not working, the loading of the models is not working and the diffrent szenes i can choose are glitchy as hell !!

Hi Annie, yeah mega sucks. Sorry about that. I've been moving more and more dependencies off mega and trying to keep addonpackages seperate to keep things smaller. I'm going to be focusing on this in the near future, find a more compressed format for audio files, that sort of thing. They're all mp3 right now.

I did manage to get it all set up with my preferred looks shrunk down just so. It's like, after the hassle and frustration of getting it to work, I am rewarded with bad VA and tiny animations that don't fit even though I literally am using vecterror at .98 scale. It just made me cringe and shut it down. Maybe the game you mentioned is fun and has many features, but I'll never know.

Ive considered having an advanced UI display toggleable for experienced users but beyond that i have no plans to remove features. I realize it can be overwhelming at first but thats why a tutorial exists on the hub. My game is more dwarf fortress than candy crush. Always will be. I will consider the advanced UI toggle.

I am sorry you are having issues. But a simple scene with a beginning, middle, and end is NOT my priority and never will be. This is a complex and versatile sandbox meant to support creations beyond my own and facilitate unique stories every playthrough. Do you want me to delete UI options because youre overwhelmed and limit the features of other users? Realistically what would you have me do? This is a game, not a movie. I provide a free demo to give everyone a chance to see if they like it.And if you don't like the product by all means consume someone else's. You dont have to like it. This is a goddamn mess, dude. I don't know how you hire people and spend all this time and money when the UI is this garbage. It's wildly unfriendly to users. I am really scratching my head when there are so many click-and-go scenes that have better animations and atmosphere. Like, is it not your priority to make these into scenes that just work?

It will loop the intro until you choose an activity. The intro is the only part where the buttons dont work.

wait - i googled this: Do you have Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace installed? Try uninstalling them if you do. I had the same issue and it was affecting all games that used the UnityPlayer.dll. You are the man!!!! (Worked for another game with the same issue)

When I read the dmp file, I got the following error, so I tried various things, but honestly, I can't handle it anymore, so I'm giving up on adding FA/GT. Thanks a lot By the way, it crashed even when VaM was newly installed. In VaM.exe.16452.dmp the assembly instruction at UnityPlayer!UnityMain+448c01 in E:\VaM\UnityPlayer.dll has caused an access violation exception (0xC0000005) when trying to read from memory location 0x00009d28 on thread 0

meshedvr also dumps all the error logs/message logs to the appdata% folder, check in there and see what the last error logs are

32GB should be enough, and im on a 3000 series but your graphics card isnt bad. hmm, if it's crashing still try turning pixel lights to zero maybe? honestly this happens so rarely for people im a little lost as to how to troubleshoot. also - try a fresh vam install and see if its something else causing the issue. i test my releasese on a fresh install every time.

try updating your vam to latest. if it still doesnt work - probably your computer is running out of ram. these are big scenes. what are your computer specs like? also - did you enable the scripts when prompted?

Hey just FYI, in the instructions, you recommend using JoyBoy Delores Brows, but that's impossible to find right now, as their patreon has been taken down for a while. Might be nice to remove that from the instructions, as it took my a while to figure out I was on a wild goose chase.

I have the same problem. By "moving the buttons around" they mean that clicking them just selects them (as if in edit mode), so they move if you drag mouse/grab with controller, BUT they don't trigger anything when clicked. That's the case for ALL the buttons in my scene. The scene launches, she begins speaking and performing (HJ1 I assume), but none of the buttons trigger anything, the animation just continues on as if nothing happened.

gray isn't a problem, thats just hte color of the buttons. if you have the full version the buttons should work for you. fi they dont check your directory structure

I've been a having problem 10 happening since I've download this. I have no idea how fix it. As I've tried installing it on fresh install of vam. I've tried using different version nothing is working.
