That's actually a really good point. At first I thought the queen hated him but then in episode 3 we learned that it was the opposite. I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same for everyone else in the kingdom as well like you said

There are so much undertones with the characters. I’m pretty sure nobody in the kingdom outright hates Boji, it’s just that they all different ways of loving him. Even Daida in the dream seemed to be worried for his brother, when he was getting attacked by the mirror
