About your question. I think Kyu-chan is stalling already. Rei's birthday was in August, the field day is October, so 2 months. And regarding these 2 months, we can see that Rei changed a lot, I'm not sure if he has made his decision regarding if or when return to Suwa's. Either way he embraced the papa's role. I don't know who will act first for the end of the story: Rei or the organisation: Rei trying some sort of agreement with the boss or just reacting wildly to some weird scary stuff they do to Kazuki/Miri. Another thing that made me wonder. I felt that the drawing of Rei's face kinda changed on this episode, he looked less of a zombie and his expressions were softer, particularly on the ending scene while carrying Miri.
