Kinda hate the off-shoot type of story because it doesn't really fit with what's going on in the tale, thus adding confusion. As a stand-alone tale, it was hot and I love the unintended/unforeseen consequences. Too few authors go that route, imo, and the stories always seem so implausible because of it.

This was fantastic. But I'm confused about its place in the story. Is it canon? I was expecting it to be a dream Connie had between the two most recent chapters.
