Radiant Tyrokatana - Base Mod Files

The first one is the numerous demands I received through the past year asking me to make a decent lore-friendly katana for wuthering waves. Replacing any of the light swords preferably EoG (and possibly Overture). Indeed that's something a lot of us has dreamt of and I totally second that crazy wish but adding a curved blade is far to be an easy job (details further below).
Secondly, the tyro saber/sword is one of the most emblematic weapons of Wuthering Waves. Numerous times you've seen Rover holding this sword during cinematics from 1.0 to 2.3. Heck that thing is even on Yangyang and both Rover official splash arts! It's one of the reason I took Wuwa seriously back in the day : a simple yet very powerful design, very much from an assassin's vibe. You might have not realized it but the 3D mesh of this object is an absolute masterpiece. Sadly it's a green lvl 70max weapon you won't ever use in the game after you pass lvl 60.
So this mod takes those two point for one solution : A curved katana blade born from the tyro design!
Now I'll tell you something very very sad. In the current state of the game a future curved blade release won't be happening even from Kuro themselves. The only curved thing we have so far is the green 4* sword from Rinascita and I've noticed issues on it even at vanilla state!
So I do believe there won't be any katana because it's extremely difficult if not impossible to have such design working with how characters draw or sheath their light swords in this game. All animations so far describe linear gestures and to draw a curved blade you must indeed follow a curve line. But don't worry, I tried to compensate it the best I could with tricks, careful curving and sheath measurements so that only 20% of those bad situations will be visible. Meaning 80% of them are so fast you won't ever see anything wrong. Problems will only appear when a character stops half way like half-sheathing or half-drawing their sword. In that matter, I've made an truthful table of what to expect if you equip this katana depending of the equiped character (see the screenshot)
Lastly, be careful as one version will replace "EoG" (Emerald of Genesis, your standard 5*) and the other will replace "Overture" (the nice energy regen white sword used by Sanhua and many more). I couldn't get rid of the ice shader effet on EoG, it's annoying but that's how life's sometimes!

Thanks mate! That was really a tough and long fight fight... I didn't expect to sweat that much for a sole hard object haha. It was almost worse than a whole character (due to the limitations mentioned)! But I think I've won its case even if not perfect, now I expect the next one to be far easier because I prefer when when things goes way easier xD
