Mood exploration of the upcoming city streets
🕑 Added 2020-05-03 01:39:53 +0000 UTCI'm starting to whip up some sprites and getting a feeling for the city.
Tentatively planning three small zones. One for the tavern and shops, one for the resident houses where the protagonist lives and an upper city zone for the story related scenes.

Somehow, your art for this game, especially the characters, reminds me deeply of Salt and Sanctuary, but with all the ugly taken out. That probably sounds odd, but I think it's true. Your characters are really hot and theirs are all horrible mutant fishpeople. That said, I feel like you both have a similar approach to stylization. You just made it about 3,000x more attractive than they did, lol.
