Build 0.2.3 Direwolves
🕑 Added 2021-09-20 14:59:46 +0000 UTCThe new build is here! The highlight of this build is the addition of the new monster type, the direwolves! They are a pack of intelligent beasts who have an alliance with the goblins and guard the entrances of their encampment. They are led by the Alpha Wolf who is a boss level monster. There are a couple different ways to deal with him, although don't fret if you are not able to beat him on the first encounter, you can have a rematch somewhere else in the encampment.
Hero's surrender command has been enabled on all normal encounters in the goblin encampment. Hero should surrender to the highest ranking remaining monster. Not all monsters have their scenes ready so if no valid monster is found it should just drop you out of battle for now.
More of the story has been adding to the beginning of Chapter Two from the part where the party enters the mercenary camp up until gaining entry into the goblin encampment. The content still ends after defeating the Faerie Prince. The storyline for this chapter should be wrapped up by the end of the year so if you waiting to see what happens after defeating the prince then keep an eye out for the upcoming builds.

Note: I include Mac and Linux versions but I cannot test or offer technical support for these versions or even confirm whether or not they still work.
Keyboard Controls:
- A,D or Arrow keys to move left and right
- Space for Jump
- Left Shift for Special Action(ie "Crouching" used with monster forms)
- Left Ctrl for Dash
- Q for character screen (Class, Equipment)
- V for transform Menu
- E for item quick menu (outside battle)
- ESC for game options menu
- F4 Skip scene, can skip through dialogue and scenes (It's a little buggy)
Controller can be used but it might be a little buggy right now (The selection cursor may disappear, use the mouse to select something again) See the input tab when you run the game for more options.

I'm glad you got it working. There's still some areas where there is no sound at all so that might be mistaken for a bug but it's actually just unfinished.

Oh I found the problem... strange thing when everything is playing sounds, just some applications don't. And the problem was driver based. Oh what lovely nice sounds!! :D

Wow, what a fast response! I actually just tried downloading it in another browser and it began to work. I need to start remembering that trick BEFORE I start bothering people. I'm assuming I have an extension on my main browser that's stopping the download so I'll need to figure it out. Sorry for the bother my dude!!

Yeah, you can fight him again as a regular encounter in the goblin encampment. He'll be accompanied by two beta wolves so it is harder but you can have your full party with you.
Are you able to Fight the Alpha direwolf multiple times?

Some bugs: - Bubble Burst animation sometimes stays on screen after the attack has completed - Using Slime Poop in battle seems to freeze the hero's animations and softlocks the game - After giving jerky to the wolf, I got an image of the sky with the wolf, blocking all visuals until I got into a battle after randomly walking around and the camera finally corrected itself

just make sure you upgrade gear for all party were you can and try and do all the fights to level up also wolf form helps especially with the slime resistences added since wolf can increase party attack, and give a bleed effect and it'sabilities are strong add to that the warlock curse and dispel abilities and blood drain have regen on every one as well

You can, but the order of events has changed so you could encounter bugs or not be able to view the new events. You are welcome to try it, but if you do encounter a bug at least let me know whether you've used an old save file.

Nothing has been added after the fairy prince fight. Everything new in this build takes place before facing him.

I really want to see the new stuff but i can't get past the fairy prince fight, i wish the combat was faster and more effective cause right now i feel like i'm spending all my time in that fight healing and can barely get an attack in before he hits me once and takes out half my health
