without it, hook will not work. With every update I do post on MG with additional information, but after update release from 27.03.2019 I got several messages with report about game crash and in every case I found that lua was not installed. Also the information about lua binaries was included in hook5_readme which distributed with every update - did not help. Guys, if you will not read at least posts about update you will create for yourself additional problem.
Also there is was some cases when enabled iTextureTrackingEnable cause game crash, in various game versions/pc configurations, I will going to fix it in next update, but for now just disable this option before launch game (main11.fx)

The Key validation is tied to your computer specs. I know this because I change my computer up a LOT. For instance I updated my bios last weekend and it cause my game not to run due to the different bios number. However I had to do a fresh install of the game once before and deleted the game and replaced it with a backup. The key still worked even when switching it over to a different hard drive. If you upgraded your graphics card it will also not work after that as well as some overclocking might cause it to fail.
when i make a key does it matter what HDD i pick i have an ssd and a hd i picked my ssd as thats what my os is on?

After main hook 5 files had been installed game does not start when I try to launch it with direct x, I have updated all mentioned drivers in the readme that was connected to hook 5, but it does not work here is copy of mainfx_errors : A:\TheKlub17\Binaries\ settings loading succeeded adapter 0:Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics adapter 1:Microsoft Basic Render Driver requested: 1024x768 requested Format: B8G8R8A8_UNORM KEY check failed create include manager fail lua connected entering validate resources I don't know what the key check means or create include manager, could someone suggest what could be wrong? Again it is a clean installation with hook 5 and all its required files without any additional mods. I had DirectX updated and still a cant run game in DirectX engine with hook 5.

I think it's rude to have people who pledged their money go through obstacles to find the extended version of Hook 5. There is no explanation post or just a simple post titled Hook 5 Extended followed with directions. I saw a comment stating someone has waited a couple months trying to find where to get the version only to received a half ass unhelpful reply. Now please what is the procedure to getting hook 5 extended because I initially read I was suppose to receive an email which hasn't come and now I cant even find that post.
Same issue as Absurdus, the old lua still crashes the game
this file does not work with the last VX update (for me anyway), but VX delivers a slightly older and larger LUA51.dll that works for me.
I'm using VX 10.0.5.6 (Beta 1) with Hook5 09/02/2019. And almost everything is working. When I found a good reason to use only VX Beta 2. I will do that! For now?
