New Schedule to Fit in a Pregnancy Revamp and to Avoid Confusing Poll Results

- ~8-12 June: BETA UPDATE: Fantasy Races + Pregnancy Revamp
- ~18-22 June: STABLE UPDATE: Fantasy Races + Pregnancy Revamp
- ~26 June: Polls started to choose 3 kinks for August, polls ending on 4 July
- ~8-12 July: BETA UPDATE: At Work, Doggy (Best ...) and Public Sex, i.e. the three kinks chosen from the last 26 May polls
- ~18-22 July: STABLE UPDATE: At Work, Doggy (Best ...) and Public Sex
- Pregnancy to be excluded from the polls until Jan 2024
So, here's why I decided to go with these changes:
As you know, the v2023.05 Updates were supposed to be Fantasy Races + Pregnancy + At Work. Working on the Fantasy Races portion of the update went as expected, then I reached the Pregnancy portion and realized from the brainstorm that despite Pregnancy winning all the time, most players don't want new scenes or small changes to Pregnancy. Instead there are some fundamental flaws to the system itself that leads to it breaking down quite easily especially when there are a lot of NPCs being pregnant at the same time in your saves, leading to never-ending pregnancies and childbirth with invisible moms etc. The system also has some non-sensical elements like twins and triplets being decided at birth and not affecting belly sizes and lack of variances in how long pregnancies last. All this also affects how much modders can work with pregnancies. Therefore, a complete revamp of the code for the system how pregnancies are recorded, progressed and checked for discovery / birth is needed. Of course, with a system revamp, you'll have to make sure that the new system works with existing scenes and content as well.
I did initially try to do this code revamp while still trying to release Fantasy Races + Pregnancy + At Work together by the end of May like planned, but it wasn't possible and tbh probably not the best idea anyway to replace a broken system with another system developed in a rush. Therefore, I decided to give this Pregnancy revamp quite a bit more development time to finally put an end to the numerous long-standing issues reported every week related to pregnancy. I will therefore release the Beta update for Fantasy Races + Pregnancy Revamp between 8-12 June, with the stable update around 10 days later. After that, since a lot of dev time will have been devoted to Pregnancy this time and previously, the kink will be excluded from the polls for the rest of this calendar year. The new pregnancy system should make it easier for modders to make pregnancy-related mods though, so impatient pregnancy fans will hopefully be able to enjoy some new third-party mods while waiting for Pregnancy to be back in the polls next year.
This is also an opportunity to 'realign' the monthly polls with the monthly updates, as it's been a bit confusing (especially for those participating in the brainstorm) how out of the 3 poll winners each month, 2 get worked on one month and 1 get worked on another month etc. Now, the 3 kinks that get announced as winners together will always be released together the following month. So, July updates will be for the 3 kinks voted on last time, and the next set of polls will be posted around 26 June ending on 4 July, choosing 3 kinks for August.

Yeah, and pregnancy has definitely had way more than it's share and hard to imagine what else could be added.

As one of the modders, I hope we'll get more functions to check on pregnancy status and even modify it.
