Final December Preview: Ruins and Large Peasant Shack
🕑 Added 2020-11-23 19:54:03 +0000 UTCThe Final Preview for December on Patreon. Featuring our first of many Large Peasant Homes. This hovel will come complete with interior animal pen so that your townsfolk can live with their livestock, bringing a whole new filth factor to your TTRPG. We have also completed an alternate Gothic Ruin top that was requested for our ruin set. I’ll work on getting out some more Gothic heavy ruins in the coming months. I also realized while painting the ruin that you can break this thing up and use it as a bunch of smaller scatter terrain as well, so I guess it is a 3 in 1 ruin design. I'll include a half-clip so you can plug the OpenLOCK connector for such use. Anyways both these building are a decent size. Here is a list of assets for December:
- 6 New Shack Shells without earth walls
- 9 New thatch roofs, 3 for each size shack
- 1 Huge Peasant House
- 1 Huge Ruin that converts from ruin to bandit hideout to scatter terrain
- 6 part Barracks expansion kit. This is for our Barracks released in May 2020
Here is some smaller things that I will be doings in January, feel free to comment to add things that you think are missing from older releases. This list does NOT include larger features for January
Patron Requests Planned for January
- Ruin Roads as scatter terrain
- Ruin Road Trail Connectors
- Wood Stairs for Barracks/Pallisade
- More Buildings/Foundations for OpenLOCK Town Blocks
Drivethrurpg.com backup links for November were sent this morning!

got it, Missed the ladder part.
The First Ruins? There is a ladder that goes to the hallway between the 2 buildings, and then the stairs go down. If you use it as a straight ruin, that is correct. thief will have to climb up to the door on the hallway area and drop a rope.
Finally getting around to printing the ruins and I'm noticing something. If I the full piece, I don't think theres an actual entrance. The tower doors go into the hallway and the hallway door goes into the stairs, so there doesnt seem to be an actual way to get in outside of pole vaulting onto the roof.
Looks like it is called Short_Length_Palisade and Short_Length_Walkway in junes palisade "expansion" folder.

I found it. You're way ahead of me. Thanks for the quick reply.
That was made, I'll dig up the part names so you can find it. I don't know that I documented it well, it would have been in June

What about a wall section that matches the gate size so that a fort may be designed with only 1 entrance/exit?
Thanks John:)
Love these! Well done!
No Problem Chris, thanks for the request:)

Thank you for those "holes in the ruins - walls", that's perfect for getting a ladder and my Rat-Ninjas through
