The final fight in the entertainment district and the hashira training arc definitely reach the same heights along with mob psycho, they all cooked

i think some people are too close minded and can’t accept that a newer shonen might be better by taking old concepts and building upon them to create something better.

Yeah, SL is pretty good, but it’s never been that good so far, I’d say it’s more like older marvel movies - danger rarely feels real, but it’s fun and relaxing to watch, especially for when your brain needs some rest after a hard day

I agree on Hinokami in s1, Train and District fights, despite not liking DS overall since it gets too formulaic in last 2 seasons. But from Mob - I think it should be the teleporter fight, not the final one

Best anime episode is a big glaze Don’t get me wrong it’s peak animation and gives goosebumps. It was very creative too so hands down best fight so far. Still Sukuna was playing with Mahoraga and there wasn’t that much suspense I’d take Erwin’s charge a hundred times over this for exemple, it had a lot more depth to it. But I guess you guys aren’t used to anime fights with that much destruction too. Y’all are gonna love a LOT of shonen fights 🔥🔥

Because the story isn't anything special and straight up copied a lot of other anime concepts JJK for me is a really good show but doesn't make it to my top 5. One of the best action with insane animation and choreography but the story is very simple without much depth to it so far.

Glad you guys started reacting later rather than sooner so you could witness the blue ray as your first time watching. Don’t get me wrong this looked beautiful when it aired too, but these extra scenes & the colours really do elevate it.

also yes the animation was incredibly rushed by MAPPA, this episode is actually 30% of what may have been (thought a lot was added from the manga), and the working conditions were incredibly harsh so anyone who helped create this masterpiece deserves every bit of recognition!
