This show is timeless! The cultural elements the creators included in this series really show the attention to detail the put into it. Fun fact about the element fighting styles! All of the elements are based on specific types of real martial arts styles. This is just from Wiki but for example: -Waterbending: Tai Chi -Earthbending: Hung Gar -Firebending: Northern Shaolin -Airbending: Baguazhang Same with the cultural influences for each nation: -Water Tribes are based on Inuit and Yupik cultures -Earth Kingdom draws inspiration from China -Fire Nation is reminiscent of Imperial Japan -Air Nomads are influenced by Tibetan Buddhism
