I wouldn't have given a flying fuck if Beom-seok wanted to hang out with Jeong-chan and the other bullies. Like at all. Would I hate him forever for betraying Si-eun and Suho? Obviously. He's so pathetic and embarrassing, but over time like as long as Suho and Si-eun were safe and happy, I genuinely would not give a shit about Beom-seok. But the fact that he purposefully used his new "friends" to try and show Suho up and constantly mess with Suho and Si-eun is when I genuinely started absolutely hating him. Like hang out with whoever you want, even if all they want is to use you and you're too blind to see that, but why are you trying to act all cocky and tough infront of a guy who tried his hardest to be friends with you when you know he would beat your ass in a second because you think he "smothered" you? Like shut up omd.

I've been in beom seok's shoes before. He's so used to being side-lined and bullied that he doesn't know what he has to do to make them like him more. He feels their friendship is conditional and even more so he wants to be liked just as much as he likes them. So he probably would never be the one to initiate things. Because if he did he would feel like he's always initiating things and that shows he likes them more than they like him. He wants them to initiate, especially su-ho, so that he feels more validated and valued as a friend. When that happens a few times he'll start to feel more comfortable, that's why right now he feels like an outlier. He's not confident and very insecure.
