Android 13 / LineageOS 20: A clean, debloated foundation for snappy performance and minimal bloat.
Google Services & Lite Option: Choose the full Google Play build or go “Lite” for maximum speed.
Aurora Store: Sideload apps without a Google account.
2. UI & Navigation Enhancements
Daijisho Launcher + RetroArch: Preconfigured for GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX (BIOS NOT included).
App Drawer in Nav Bar: Quickly switch between apps from any screen.
Screen Rotation Controls: Lock to landscape when rotation is disabled—no more upside-down games!
3. Input & Control Upgrades
Universal Button Remapping: Map any physical button to any other key/input—total control over your layout.
Analog Stick Calibration: Tweak stick range and deadzone for ultra-precise gameplay.

Deep Sleep Mode (cgroup Freeze): Force-freeze background apps to conserve battery (⚠️ use with caution—some apps may not resume correctly).

Magisk Root: Pre-installed root with Magisk, ready for modules, tweaks, or mods.
7. Storage & Security
Relaxed Scoped Storage: Loosened file-access restrictions so apps can freely read/write without getting blocked. Great for emulators and file managers.
🚧 What’s Still Missing?
More Granular RGB Control: Current GammaRGB only mirrors overall screen color; per-LED adjustments are coming later.
On-Screen Button Mapping: No built-in touch-mapper; use a third-party app like Mantis Pro to assign buttons on-screen.
Emulated Touchpad for External Displays: Right now only screen mirroring is supported. Full touchpad emulation when connected to an external monitor is planned for a future update.
💾 Flashing Requirements
Windows Only: At the moment, the split archive can be flashed via Windows. We’re working on adding Linux/macOS support with the spd_dump tool.
Split Archive Format: Each build is split into three .7z.00x files—extract all parts together with 7-Zip.

Update 1: I downloaded the LITE version and it created the PAC just fine. I also tried decrypting the FULL version using WinRAR, and instead of the "wrong password??" message, it specifically stated there was a checksum error in the archive. I've downloaded the file a few times (different machines) and I keep getting the same error. Is it possible there's actually an error in the files on GitHub? Seems super unlikely. Anyone have an idea what's actually wrong? Just to be clear, I'm trying to install the FULL version, so getting the LITE version working is not the victory it might seem. ;-)

Okay, I want to win the award for stupidest problem. I cannot get the 7Zip files to decrypt. I'm using the password (the one that's now public) and I'm using it on the Cube Full 001, 002, 003 files., but I keep getting the 7Zip error "wrong password??". Obvious thought is that I've got the wrong files, or perhaps the password doesn't apply. Yes, battery life is better because the google apps wont be able to suck battery in background as theyre missing in the lite version. Dont know how much of a difference that makes though. Dont know how to switch to lite but you can use this https://github.com/Universal-Debloater-Alliance/universal-android-debloater-next-generation/ or use an app with root permission to disable/uninstall the apps that are left out in the lite version.

In case anyone else gets the error "sw2276 check baud time out" in ResearchDownload: turn on the device, it will eventually boot to Android Recovery. Reset the device, let it do its thing until it gets to the Android home screen, then turn the device off and attempt to flash with ResearchDownload again.

tried connecting external screen to RG Cube via USBC and it kept restarning the OS for soem reason, worked fine ons tock

(RG Cube) Earphone via type C is bugged. It connected but the sound came out of the speaker not from the earphone

Hi, I need help with the Gamma OS core on an SD card I had used for my miyoo flip and was wondering if you could help me. I had messed up and had used a pixel thing to fix Stardew Valley, I then went into the settings and did a factory reset on the SD card and then it’s just a black screen. Is there a way to fix or uninstall the core for me to use the SD Card again?

Sorry if it's too late. I had the same issue - from Microsoft site download and install 'Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable', the following versions: Latest, 2005, 2008, and 2010, Instal both X86 and X64 versions even if your PC is 64 bit. Then SPRD Download Tool will work!

I deleted Nether Sx so I could update to the new version and can’t install the new version because Gamma won’t let me. Is there a way to override it so I can install it?

After going into SPRD Download Tool folder and clicking ResearchDownload it keeps coming up with CDLFWDriver Startup Fail. I have been installed unisoc drivers properly and unlock bootloader without any problem. Also tried to install latest c++ drivers but keep failing.
