GammaOS Next development is in full swing!

It’s been a busy few weeks since we wrapped up GammaOS Core Beta 3, and I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on next—GammaOS Next! This new distribution is designed for higher-powered devices, and I’ve been hard at work taking all the optimizations from GammaOS Core and applying them here.
Project Progress: GammaOS Next
Device Focus:
Optimizations are progressing well on Anbernic T820 devices.
Early tests on other devices (G99, T618) are showing promising results.
Current Preview:
Check out the previews of the work so far in the attached images—more updates are on the way!
Still To Do:
Full LED control integration.
Development of an analog stick calibration tool.
Additional quality-of-life updates.
I’ll share an ETA as I get closer to a full release. Thanks for your continued support and feedback—it truly fuels these projects!

I hope Gamma makes one for R36S, this device practically outsold all others since it's launch till present (due to its inexpensive price),. Good news is an unofficial LineageOS 18.1 was released for R36S on 18 July 2025 (check reddit), so I hope Gamma releases his OS for this device too
