Guys, you already learned from Rayleigh that there are three different types of Haki: Observation Haki, Armament Haki, and Conqueror's Haki. So when Luffy said "Armament" and his arm turned black, he was using Armament Haki. It has nothing to do with his Devil Fruit powers. Armament Haki is for defending yourself or making your attacks stronger. It's not actually visible in the One Piece world, but in the anime it's highlighted in black so that we viewers know when a character is using Armament Haki.

Not sure if they understand the gag cuz they haven't really said anythinig about it but I think they might. The gag about where the boys think combiner robo and anything mecha is cool while the girls have no reaction and think its dumb.. LOL..

so the "it perverted" doesn’t translate well but they’re making a gag out of puns. 変態 and 変体 are both pronounced hentai while the first one means pervert and the second one means to change form/shape. so Franky says "he’s gonna transform (hentai)" but Usopp chimes in with a "you’re already a pervert (hentai)" tsukkomi
