Minecraft, But It's 2D...

On server start up it creates three 2D worlds - normal, nether, end. When you join the server, run /tewdee tp to be teleported to the 2D world.
Extras
To have the "2D" point of view, type /record (target) (recorder) where the target is the player you want the "2D" view to track and the recorder is an alt account.
If you're stuck and can't find the fortress or stronghold, /tewdee info

It's a vanilla bug iirc, we used Sodium (https://modrinth.com/mod/sodium) to fix

This plugin seems to be working mostly flawlessly on my 1.18.1 Paper server, but I need to keep manually reloading the chunks (F3+A) on the "recording" account after a few chunks because otherwise the players and the world just suddenly become invisible. Is this a bug or just part of how the plugin works?
