hm, and I start thinking that I should acquire more fundamental skills of drawing. So I'm starting to want to post something different..like still images , shorter animations or complex animations with more simple shading, if it's ok......?

Looks good to me! Maybe make the guy in the front grab here horn or hold onto her mane instead of having his hand just at his side though? Might make it look hotter.

It's looking pretty great, you're always good at making them interactive with each other in motion. Perhaps the wings look small and static? If you wanna do smaller projects, then go right ahead. It's good to shake things up and put out quick works whenever you're faced with a wall. Take the time for yourself.

The animation looks great, doesn’t look like you’ve lost any sort of style you’ve always had. If you feel like you’ve had an artist’s block, taking a small break is always good and looking at what others make sparks inspiration (to me at least). And sure! Expand your artistic repertoire. You do you.
