Nerdy correction: Batman chose to save Rachel but the Joker lied to him about the locations so he ended up saving Harvey Dent instead. Another great wrinkle to an already legendary movie.

Batman didn’t pick Harvey Dent. The Joker swapped the addresses on purpose to get Batman to save Harvey and bring him down to their (joker and Batman’s) criminal level. Joker also thinks Batman is a criminal that pretends to be a hero, and that’s why joker constantly tries to point out the hypocrisy.

Haha you got it wrong. Batman is given the information incorrectly. The address that the joker gives for Rachel's location is the wrong one, batman goes to Rachel's location because he is selfish but the joker knew that he would be selfish and would want to save Rachel instead of Harvey so that is why he flipped the true location of both captives and batman ends up saving Harvey.

It's so irritating listen to you guys talk about movies when you don't even remember certain parts correctly. He chooses to save Rachel but joker lied about which location she was in. He went to save Rachel but ended saving Harvey only because he was there.
