Ngl, I had a bit of a stressful time thinking that I'd be stuck with Stray Souls and derivative material, which would always need to go through Webtoon and contractual loops. Not to mention that I'm still very much dealing with emotional burnout from the whole experience, and unable to fully focus or dedicate myself to that story with the care that I wanted to. I'm looking forward to stop feeling that way about SS in particular, but it's so nice to have something I'm passionate about again in the works. This time I'll keep it independent for as long as I can, and try to employ what I learned from the webtoon experience so that I can actually create something I'm proud of heh

Luckily this didn’t really burn me out for comics, moreso for the project itself. I feel like webtoon has helped me and strengthened me as an artist in many ways, but SS is definitely something I’m eager to move on from and maybe revisit when I’m better prepared to tackle it the way I want. Thank you 💜

Oh boy, that hits home. I hope that you can find a way that makes the work comfortable again - or what you consider the best option for the future of your work. But please, especially with such a long-time project like a comic, look after yourself. 💛

I hate that webtoons fucked you over like it has. I love Stray Souls but its become more of a gateway now to your future fantastic works.
