So if I was to make a list with humans being at the top, then bonobos, chimps, gorillas, orangutans, old world monkeys, new world etc etc, I understand that after all the primates, the closest relatives to humans are tree shrews and rodents. What comes after that? I’m not sure how to determine who’s closer: felines, canines, ungulates, etc.

If i ever get the chance to study again, i hope to get a teacher as good as Clint. At my school our biology teacher was satisfied when we could put a condom over a wood pole. Probably wanted to make sure none of us would actually reproduce. That was 2010.

Looking forward to more weird reproductive strategies :) (PS, my elementary school teacher did teach us that the monarch caterpillars turned into "goo" and then rearranged into a butterfly. That would have been in the 1970s.)
