[Concept] Enemy Designs #01
🕑 Added 2023-05-29 00:53:58 +0000 UTCManaged to do a bit of concept art before the month's end. This should give you the kind of idea of what kinds of challenges I'll need to start dabbling in soon as I replace the older assets with original art.
There's a great deal of problem solving, for both concepts & technical design. The act of creating sprite art is a bit like painting, except with much less canvas space and a limited square brush. Monster designs are tricky too, especially if I don't have a strong inspiration and if I'm trying to match the previous image dimensions.
Anyway, don't forget to eat & sleep. More to come in the future.
