[Blog] Plans for December - What to Expect

That's what you have to look forward to in December. I have to take a few commissions because I am still not earning enough to survive, and I'd like to release another game demo by Christmas time -- so I'd like to focus on that for a bit. All of the relevant monthly posts will be made in a few days or once everyone's payment has been processed.
Now that this is out of the way, I'm going to spend the rest of this post reflecting on last month.
November's Results
I felt like November was an overall good month, though I didn't intend to produce quite as much as I did. I actually got really sick in the middle, likely the results of too much work and not enough rest.
Patron Sketch Requests:
These have been going well so far, though I feel as if I made many of them a little too good! It's not a problem and I don't mind how clean so many of them are, but I don't want people to expect that level of quality for just $50 every single time. Like, it's great if I can do that - but I don't want to go into each piece with that being the goal.
Sketch Dumps:
I produced a number of monochrome grey sketches during my live streams, and I think they're a nice addition to my workflow. They're usually simple and make for easy Twitter fodder, though I do not know if they're consistently appealing enough. But it does still add to the quantity of content
Concept Art:
While I liked the ideas sent in last month's "concept art suggestions" post, I ultimately didn't end up feeling excited or compelled enough to draw concept art (hence why it came so late). So I think I'll put this idea on the back burner for now. It just isn't providing enough value to you guys.
It's still that classic issue of having to spontaneously invent problems to solve - solutions for things that won't be relevant until some unknown future time instead of exploring something practical. So I think that's something I'll need to solve.
I still might feature concept art suggestions again, but probably not this month.

If you want, I plan on throwing an idea into the commission queue this time around, and you can just skip my sketch idea this month if you decide to pick it. Might save you some time, as it'd be one less pic you'd have to produce.
