[Blog] Following up on the recent health concern
🕑 Added 2024-04-15 08:58:52 +0000 UTCIn a recent post, I mentioned experiencing a health scare, so I figured I'd elaborate a little on it. It started around last weekend (Sat/Sun) and has been a constant experience ever since.
I'm not yet sure if it's a dental issue (like TMJD), but it might just be muscle strain of some kind. It's usually just a minor discomfort, but I've noticed the worse symptoms flare up when I was under stress, leading me to believe it might be a physical response to stress - and I've had plenty of reasons to be stressed between my work habits over the last several years and the recent censorship on both Twitter and Patreon.
I'm not an expert, so I can't be certain that's all it is - but just in case, I should probably try to minimize even the smallest forms of stress from my day-to-day life. I don't know if that means I should make some changes about my work or my interaction with those platforms, but I can't just take an actual break for because I do still need to earn an income, after all. If I do have to make changes to my work / online presence, just be sure to communicate what you expect / want from me as a creator so I can keep those things in mind.
I would prefer not to go to the hospital, so hopefully it doesn't get much worse... I'll be keeping an eye on it. Hopefully I can still provide a good experience in the coming days.

Dang... That's a lot of symptoms you're experiencing at the moment. But, it still seems like you're in a bright mood to draw yourself like a Sailor Moon/Pretty Cute girl. But please try to take it easy on yourself, Brell! Even if things are getting worse, they'll become better in the future, I know it! πππ

Somebody with proper expertise should evaluate whether you grind your teeth during sleeping if that may induce the tension and soreness in the mandibular articulation. At the very least, I doubt it's tetanus.
