Elayne, Wedding Dress - "Oil Painting" Experiment

I've covered up a bit more of the under-painting, but have also added more splashes of colour into the artwork. You can see this subtle use of colour in multiple locations:
On her torso, take notice of these little bits of red & green within the mass of blue.
The flower on her neck has little bits of blue within the red.
The gold trips also have this, most noticeable behind the elbow.
The most subtle of all is her hair, which has little bits of green within the grey.
This helps the shapes feel a bit more interesting, while also simulating what you might see on a traditional painting - as the paintbrush will sometimes carry multiple pigments within a single stroke due to how paint is mixed. Artists will also sometimes do this to suggest bounce light (colours from the surrounding area bouncing into the shadows of other objects).
The flowers did indeed turn out to be quite difficult - primarily the leaves (hence why they're not painted). I think that means I should try to practice painting some shrubbery and flowers in the near future. This kind of painting style can take a while, but I'm interested in doing it again.

I really enjoy this art technique/style from you honestly id be down to see more leafy greens in your work i dont see it often maybe a garden of sorts? Maybe eleyane sees unique flowers and records it in a journal to practice a asthethic
