Thanks so much for this. A deep dive on rallycar next would be great. Seems so cool but I know next to nothing. Also maybe a mini pod on just Le Mans? Just tossing out ideas.

Mazda has not been at Le Mans since the early 90s. I think Rob was thinking of Nissan with their campaign in LMP1-H with the weird FWD GT-R LM Nismo that was, if we're being brutally honest, ill-conceived on almost every level (the car, the team, the drivers).

You guys seemed confused about why LMP2 would have BOP changes for Daytona, the reason is that it is not a spec class. All the cars share the same Gibson engine but there are four chassis manufacturers: Dallara, Ligier, Multimatic/Riley and Oreca. On another note the DPi cars are derived from these cars which is one of the reasons that the Mazda that is built on the Riley chassis kind of stinks.
