I’m pretty sure Seduction isn’t about an actual female. It’s a metaphor for hiphop. Eminem refers to hip hop as a female a lot in his music. His song favorite bitch on music to be murdered by side B is about hiphop

I’ve been going through the after 2004 Em discography for the 1st time. Loved loved loved Recovery. I liked MMLP 2 (“Berzerk” is amazing). Trying to make it through Revival and want to poke out my eardrums. It’s so cringe. Really hoping the next few albums are better.

MmLP 2 is great. The technical ability on that album is so fire. Also I know revival gets alot of hate but go in with an open mind. There’s some bangers on there. Most of it is raw and he just pours his heart out through his pen. It’s a very emotional album and it’s one of my favourites, castle & arose are very emotional and the way he ties the songs together is genius. I’m looking forward to it. It’s not a head banging album. It’s a thought provoking one and is more like poetry. That’s why it wasn’t well received. But make no mistake the pen game is still fire if you dive dee into it looking forward to that reaction bro 👍

As others are saying, not sure why all the hate for albums past Recovery. I like MMLP 2, Kamikaze and Music to be murdered by side B deluxe edition. But his latest album The Death of Slim Shady is top tier Eminem. I like all of his albums (minus revival lol) but TDOSS is his best album in a long time to me personally. I can’t wait for you to get caught up. Anyway, great reaction again. Also, I’m so happy you liked relapse. I loved that album when it came out and it still holds up to me.

MMLP2 wasn’t a bad album at all. Most of these niggas are either too young to understand the current Em, too dumb to understand the current Em’s lyrics , or old school shady dick riders who would say they’re fans but only of his old music. Shit don’t work like that, yeah the old Eminem dropped absolute bangers but Eminem still dropping bangers he just doesn’t use the same slow roller coaster cadence he used to use.

Hey loved this reaction. Watching you do this reminded me of when I first heard it and I think we had an identical reaction. If you asked me in 2010 I would have said this was my favorite Eminem album. Also I appreciate wanting to put it above his original classics. People get stuck in this mindset of having to hold up his first three to unreachable standards when Imo hes surpassed SSLP a few times now. Recovery is really really great still, and in my top 5 records from him. Hot take but I put it above SSLP. 1. TES 2. MMLP 3. TDOSS(The Death Of Slim Shady) 4. MTBMB side A(Music to be Murdered By) 5. Recovery Two things about MMLP2 you should know going in. 1. He has kind of an odd throaty delivery on it, that we now know was caused by really bad tinnitus he had at the time. For whatever reason that vocal range was how he could literally physically hear himself best while recording. Your mileage may vary with this, for some people it doesn't bother them at all, for me it does but I still think this album is very good. 2. It doesnt really sound much like the first MMLP. Its more of a thematic sequel than anything. Also this is where he starts experimenting with weird flow pockets but theyre mostly still pretty tame here. Don't want to color your perception or anything, but these are things I wish I knew going into the project. Again its still very good.
